🚨 Fatal Crash in Porter Ranch Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

A deadly single-vehicle crash in Porter Ranch Sunday night left one person dead and two others seriously injured, authorities said.

According to officials, the crash happened near 10502 N. Tampa Avenue, where the vehicle struck a light pole. Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported two victims to the hospital with critical injuries. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.

🕊️ Married Couple Found Dead in Porter Ranch Home in Suspected Murder-Suicide

Police say two people found dead inside a Porter Ranch home have been identified as a married couple in what investigators believe was a murder-suicide.

Authorities responded to the home after receiving reports of a welfare check. When officers arrived, they discovered the couple deceased inside the residence. Detectives are continuing their investigation, but early indications suggest the incident was domestic in nature.

🇺🇸 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Exhibit “The Wall That Heals” Coming to the Valley

A traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial known as “The Wall That Heals” is coming to the San Fernando Valley this month.

The exhibit will be displayed at Pierce College and includes a three-quarter scale replica of the famous Washington D.C. memorial along with a mobile education center. The event is open to the public and gives local residents the opportunity to pay tribute to the more than 58,000 service members who lost their lives during the Vietnam War.

The exhibit will be open March 9–22, offering the community a chance to reflect and honor veterans.

🏀 CSUN Heads to Big West Basketball Championships in Nevada

Basketball fans in Northridge have something to keep an eye on this week as **CSUN Matadors basketball teams head to Nevada for the Big West Basketball Championships.

The tournament runs March 11–14 at Lee's Family Forum, where teams from across the Big West Conference will compete for the conference championship and an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.

The No. 8 seeded CSUN women’s team will open play against Cal State Fullerton Titans on Wednesday, March 11 at 12:00 PM.

On the men’s side, the No. 4 seeded Matadors are scheduled to face UC San Diego Tritons on Thursday, March 12 at 6:00 PM.

The annual tournament brings together the top teams in the conference for a multi-day championship event that often produces dramatic finishes and standout performances. For CSUN fans, it’s another opportunity to see the Matadors compete on a bigger stage as they look to make a run in Henderson.

🏃‍♂️ LA Marathon Raises More Than $4.5 Million for Charities

Student-athlete Walter Pierce has been gaining attention as a standout runner for the Cal State Northridge Matadors track and field team.

Known for his endurance and disciplined training, he has contributed to CSUN’s competitive presence in conference track meets and cross-country events.
