CSUN athletics and campus life are rolling into May with postseason pressure, graduation season, and more recognition for the Matadors.
🔥 What’s happening:
• ⚾ Baseball — Final Homestand Push: CSUN opened its final homestand before entering the last stretch of Big West play. The Matadors are still battling for conference tournament positioning.
• 🎓 CSUN — Commencement Season Begins: More than 11,000 students are expected to participate in 2026 commencement ceremonies beginning this weekend around the University Library.
• 🏀 Men’s Basketball — Historic Run Remembered: The Matadors reached the Big West semifinals for the first time since 2014 this season while securing back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in over two decades.
• 🏐 Men’s Volleyball — National Recognition Continues: CSUN remained nationally ranked throughout the season and extended its streak of appearing in 50 consecutive AVCA polls.
